Top Batsmen at next T20 Worldcup

If you reading this article then you are a cricket junkie like I am. Next T20 world cup is around the corner and I have my top T20 batsmen list ready. I would like to compare this list with yours. Let me know if you agree, disagree etc.

No particular order.

1- Tamim Iqbal: The left-hander from Bangladesh is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Bangladesh cricket and is arguably the hardest hitter of the cricket ball in the country

2- Brendon McCullum: Explosive firework can be expected from the wicket-keeper batsman of New Zeeland. He is a safe bet.

3- Gautam Gambhir: The ICC World Twenty20 greatly enhanced his reputation on the global stage, as Gambhir notched up runs consistently, scoring three half-centuries, including a composed 75 in a high-pressure final against Pakistan. He will the one that will entice crowd.

4- Umar Akmal:the younger brother of Pakistan wicketkeeper Kamran is probably the most promising batsmen of the tournament. His fearless approach is perfect for T20.

5- Abdul Razzaq: Although Razzaq bats at lower order but he will dazzle with some late firework. He is always a top contender when it comes to shortest version of the game.

6- Kevin Pietersen: Runs are expected from him and he knows this very well. No question he is ready to provide some heavy weight punches in this world cup.

7- AB de Villiers: He averages 32.56 in T20 cricket, which is pretty higher compare to other big names. He is a complete athlete and will be a treat watching in the coming world cup.

8- Shane Watson: He is heavy hitter, he is fearless, he is in top form. Watching him will be like watching Sir Viv Richards in his peak (no disrespect to Sir Richard). He will be the destroyer in-chief of the tournament.

9- Travis Dowlin: The real weapon from West Indies is a treat to watch when he is playing T20 cricket. Most of you will not buy him due to his age but take my words to the bank he will shine. He always performs well in front of home crowd.

10- Dilshan: Who can forget Dilshan scope from last T20? He is one the best in his class. Unlike most other batsman he is a consistent performer. Unlike this last world cup he feels a burden of expectation which could hinder his electrifying performance.

Other to watch:

Y Pathan, Gayle, CL White, Kohli, S Rania, Tharanga, Imran Nazir,

I agree but only difference would be, Bravo in place of Travis and Taylor from New Zeeland in top 10. CL White should be there along Smith from SA.
